Dear Ma'am Maria,
I am writing to you with utmost urgency to request for an employee leave
effective October 10, 2012. Due to the floods that have affected our homes. I
must take a week off work to personally supervise the repairs and cleaning of
our house.
Our home was badly damaged during the storm, and we were not spared
any personal effects, money or items of value. So our family must come together
and do all these repairs ourselves.
I hope you understand our situation. I will be returning to work the
following Monday.
